Most "AI" features send your data to an outside AI company. Ours does not.
Runs on our servers
The language model is hosted by DesiERP itself. Nothing is sent to OpenAI, Google or any other AI company, and nothing is used to train anyone's model.
The AI never sees your figures
It sees only your question and your own master names, and turns them into a structured request. DesiERP looks up the numbers, so a confused model can only ask a wrong question, never show the wrong company's data.
Follows your roles
A user who cannot open Purchase Bills cannot ask about payables either. Every answer is limited to the signed-in user's company and to the pages their role may read.
Unsure questions are asked back, not guessed.
An assistant that says "I am not sure what you mean" is worth more than one that answers confidently and wrongly. So DesiERP's assistant tells you what it cannot do, shows you how it read your question, and never invents a number.

About the AI assistant
Does the AI see my sales figures or customer data?
No. The model receives your question and the names of your customers, suppliers, products and branches so it can recognise them. DesiERP itself looks up the figures. Nothing is sent to an outside AI company.
Can it make changes, create invoices or delete anything?
No. The assistant only reads. It cannot create, edit or delete a document, and it cannot run anything but the read-only queries DesiERP builds for it.
What if it misunderstands my question?
Every answer carries a one-line "I read it as" so you can see what was understood. When the assistant is not sure, it asks you to rephrase instead of guessing. Common questions are read by fixed rules and are always exact.
Does it work in Hindi or Telugu?
It understands English and everyday Hinglish such as "kitna stock hai". Full Hindi and Telugu questions are on our list; ask us at sales@scmsoftwarelab.com if that matters to you.
Is there an extra charge for the AI?
No. It is part of every login at the normal recharge price. There is no per-question fee and no separate plan.
Can my accountant use it?
Yes. A CA's free read-only login can ask the same questions about the books they are allowed to see.
